  • How Can I Change My Meal Plan or Flex Plan?

All student orders submitted will be for the Spring 2019 semester.


If a student does not have an account with UK Dining, create a Campus Dish account using your official UKY.EDU email address (it is not connected to your linkBlue.)

1. Go to Meal Plans.
2. Select a meal plan that works best for you and add it to the cart.
3. Check out.

Please allow 3 -5 business days for all changes to reflect on your myUK student account.

The Spring 2019 downgrade deadline is January 25th, 2019. One downgrade and one upgrade are permitted per semester. Downgrades will not be accepted after this date.

  • Where can I use my Meal Swipes?

Meal swipes refer to meals that can be used at Champions Kitchen and Fresh Food Company, our two all-you-care-to-eat dining halls. One meal swipe will gain you one entry into either of these locations. Both all-you-care-to-eat dining locations provide the opportunity to choose a meal specifically tailored to your dietary needs with a variety of options all in one place.

  • How Do Flex Dollars Work?

Flex Dollars are like a debit card for food on campus. They are attached to your student ID card and are accepted at all UK Dining locations in a dollar for dollar transaction.  Running low? No problem! You can reload Flex anytime throughout the semester with no fee.

  • How Do I access my Meals or Flex Dollars?

Meal Swipes and Flex Dollars will be loaded on your UK WildCard ID to use. Student Spring plans start January 6th, 2019.

  • How Do I view my Meals Swipes or Flex Dollars balance and usage?

Meal and Flex Plan usage may be viewed through: myUK account/Student Services/Financials/Flex, Meals, Plus. This takes you to the GET program/login with your linkBlue.
For on-the-go meal plan balances and usage:

1. Download GET Mobile app by The Cbord Group
2. Pick the University of Kentucky
3. Sign in with your linkBlue /GET Funds/My Accounts

  • Will my Meal Plan and Flex Plan auto renew for next semester? 

    All Meal and Flex Plans are annual, so you will be automatically assigned the same plan you chose in the fall semester for the spring semester.
     
  • Will Meals Swipes and Flex Dollars expire or roll-over from Fall to Spring? 

Meal Swipes do not roll-over. Unused Flex Dollars will roll-over from the Fall Semester to the Spring Semester, if you have an active Spring Plan. All Unused Flex Dollars and Meal Swipes expire on last day of the Spring Semester May 3rd, 2019

Don’t worry - simplicity and convenience are all within reach. Once you have a meal plan, your student ID works like a debit card. Just swipe your card and the meals and points are deducted from your meal plan account.

2019 Spring Resident Plans
  • Students residing in university housing are required to choose from one of the meal plans below. The meal plan is an annual contract.
  • Please Visit you Housing Portal to make your meal plan selection
  • Residents are allowed ONE upgrade per semester, which can be done any time during the semester.
  • ONE downgrade is permitted per semester prior to September 7, 2018 for fall and January 25, 2019 for spring.  Downgrades will not be accepted after these dates.

2019 Spring Commuter Plans
All meal plan orders will be processed for the Fall 2018 Spring 2019 year. 
  • Off campus students have eight options to choose from.  
  • Meal Plans and Flex Plans are annual contracts. The same plan you ended the fall semester with will appear on your spring bill but, you can change it to whichever plan is better for you on this website or in person at the Dining Center.
  • If you wish to change your 2018-2019 meal plan, you may do so on this website by selecting a different plan and completing the checkout process. You can upgrade once per semester, any time during the semester.
  • ONE downgrade is permitted per semester prior to September 7, 2018 for fall and January 25, 2019 for spring. Downgrades will not be accepted after these dates.

2019 Spring BCTC Commuter Plans

All meal plan orders will be processed for the Fall 2018 Spring 2019 year.

  • BCTC students enrolled in 6 - 12 hours of eligible courses with a home campus of Cooper Drive will be eligible to purchase a Commuter Meal Plan or Commuter Flex Plan.  Online courses do not count toward eligibility to purchase Commuter Meal Plans or Commuter Flex Plans.
  • BCTC plan holders are required to pre-pay their Meal Plans or All Flex Plans.
  • Please click here for the Meal Plan Order Form and submit.  UK Dining Center will review eligibility and contact customer via phone number provided for payment, within 3 business days.
  • Purchases may also be completed in person at: UK Dining Center, The Gatton Student Center, 160 Avenue of Champions, Lexington, KY 40506.

Summer Plans
  • Summer Customized Flex Plan are for the Summer academic term ONLY.
  • STUDENTS must be an enrolled student with the University or an enrolled BCTC student living in Campus Housing.
  • The initial deposit will be charged through the plan holders myUK account.Payment is made to Student Account Services. 
  • Plans start on 5/7/2019 and end on 8/1/2019.
  • Subsequent deposits must be pre-paid by credit/debit cards.
  • All Summer unused Flex Dollars are non-refundable, non-transferrable andexpire at the end of the summer term or if a student withdraws for any reason. Any Add-On Flex Dollars will carry to the fall semester with an active enrollment and active Dining Plan.

Faculty and Staff

Faculty and Staff Employee Dining Plans can be used for yourself or to bring a friend or family member to a meal, at our two Dining Halls! Faculty/Staff Dining Plans are only available to: Full or Part-time regular employees of UK, paid Graduate Assistants, Research Assistants and Teaching Assistants. Student workers are not eligible for this plan.

Employee plans will not expire as longs as there is employment with the University. Please read Terms and Conditions.

Pay in Full online with a credit card
Create a new campus dish account or log into your existing account. Pick a plan. Check out. (Please allow 1-2 business days to activate on your UK employee WildCard).

Faculty/Staff Payroll Deductions are available to UK employees receiving a bi-weekly or monthly pay - 

Complete the payroll deduction form. UK Dining Center will contact you via email to confirm plan activation after verification of employment. (Please allow 1-2 business days).

Add-On Flex Dollars
Running low on Student Flex Dollars? Recharge today and make your life easier!
  • A STUDENT with an active student Meal Plan or Flex Plan can have additional Add-On Flex Dollars purchased.
  • Prepayment with a credit card at check-out.
  • Any unused Add-On Flex Dollars will carry over to the Spring Semester with an active Meal or Flex Plan.
  • Any unused Add-On Flex Dollars will expire at the end of the Spring Semester or if a student withdraws from the University under any circumstances. Non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Orders will be processed within 2 business days.
